Just one short month ago, I went from this beautiful red headed beauty to this, YIKES, naked, wind blowing on my bare bottom girl. Molting is a tough thing to go though. Especially in the North during Autumn when the temps drop and the wind picks up. But it was all worth it. See, I did get new feathers, I grew them in 5 weeks and I now look like a different bird all together. My feathers mostly came in White!
Just ignore the fact that I am trying to figure out how to get my treats out of the food bins, here. Just look at my beautiful new feathers will ya. Hmmm, there must be a lever here some where.
Maybe Luke can help. He’s big enough, but no thumbs. . . . .
Okay, then I’ll just march myself up to the house and demand my treats.
