Row, Row, Row Your Boat Card

Hello Stampers,

There are times when I pull out everything and the kitchen sink to pull a card together, this is not one of them. . . .

Today I’m keeping it simple, straight stamping, no fussy cutting, no die cutting, easy layering and I only used the images in one stamp set.   I used the Adventurous Journey stamp set and created this fun row boat card.  I like to tell a story, if I can, with my scenes and today I imagine someone just rowed that boat up to the shore, hopped out and then walked away leaving foot prints behind.  :).  I also imagine they are sitting under a nearby tree having a cool drink and relaxing.   Yep, my mind has it all figured out or maybe that is where I wish I was, lol.  Either way it is a fun project to stamp and a beautiful card to send.

Free Video Tutorial – He’s All That Card

Hello Stampers,

I always need masculine cards and the Stampin’ Up! He’s All That stamp set is a fun manly stamp set to work with.  Today I looked at this classic truck image and decided to just create a simple little road for it do go down.  Since the image is a frontal view you need your road to come straight down.  There is also a van in this stamp set which is perfect to add to your beach scenes, love it!

Little Blue Bird Told Me Card

Hello Stampers,

Sometimes, I come up with an idea in my head which I don’t have a stamp for.  Like this fence on today’s card, no stamp, so I created it with card stock and the Drybrush background stamp to get this mossy fence look.  It turned out perfect for the little blue bird to sit on.  Don’t you love it when an idea comes together!

Free Video Tutorial – Mountain View Grassy Grove Card

Hello Stampers,

Do you like lots of layers on your cards or are you someone like me, which loves to let the main panel on the card just shine with just a couple of layers?  Also, when I want to make masculine cards I tend to keep the layers to a minimum, don’t ask me why.  Maybe it’s so they card doesn’t look too fussy.   Also, you can’t go wrong with a deer scene for the men in my family.  How about yours?

I used the Grassy Grove Stamp Set and Grove Dies Set for this project.   These items have been used so much, probably one of the top items I have used in 2022 and 2023 and that’s saying something.
