You’re A Fox – Stampin’ Up! Card

You Are Foxy

Hello there,

During the Winter months I love to make lots and lots of soup which takes lots and lots of broth.  I make my own broth so while I am creating today I have a huge pot of chicken bone broth going and boy oh boy is my stomach growling because the whole house smells of chicken goodness.  Let’s see if I can get through this post before heading to the kitchen to snack on something, lol.  Before you ask, none of my girls (hens) are in the pot, much to their relief, I’m sure!

In today’s project I added a bright sun with rays in the sky and the super cute Fox from the Foxy Friends stamp set.  It teamed up perfectly with the sentiment from the New Truly Tailored stamp set and True Gentleman Designer Series Paper in the New Occasions catalog.

YOU CAN SEE JUST HOW TODAY’S PROJECT WAS CREATED IN TODAY’S STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL.  SEE HOW TO GET IT AND 11 OTHER TUTORIALS FROM THIS MONTH FREE BELOW.  LEARN TECHNIQUES YOU CAN APPLY TO YOUR OTHER STAMPING PROJECTS AS WELL.

Hi there,

Well I am finally on the mends.  I’ve had a horrible respiratory virus for the past 2 weeks that really had me down.  Two Z pacs later I’m running of full steam again, YAY!!!  I hope you and your family are well.  The flu and other viruses are so bad this year, please take care of yourself.  🙂

On another note. . . .I used direct to paper to create the background for this warm weather friend.  Direct to paper is a technique that is not hard and you can come up with some pretty fantastic backgrounds, better yet, no two will be exactly alike, each one an original.

Waterfront Paradise

Hello there,

I’m hanging out this morning in my craft room with a view of snow, snow, snow through my windows today so I decided to go to a warm place in my stamping project using the Waterfront stamp set.  Are you ready for the beach also?  Winter has just begun and I’m already longing for warm Spring days.  It’s probably not good to wish a few months away seeing how time goes so fast anyway.  I should just enjoy the time I have all cozy in my craft room, right?  Good thing we can stamp out those warm scenes to feel just a bit warmer inside.

Hello there,

Magical Day Wizard

Hello there,

I have a confession to make, I am obsessed with the new Stampin’ Up! Magical Day stamp set.  Is it because I love to watch any movie based on a magical story? Lord only knows I have watched the Harry Potter movies countless times and read the books, all of them 3 times.  Unicorns, mermaids, dragons, knights and wizards, it’s a dream stamp set for me.  Oh and let’s not forget the great sentiments in this stamp set.

Pre-teen cards are always a tough thing for me to come up with, but not with this stamp set.  🙂

Panda

Hello there,

We are still struggling with a respiratory virus here at our house, ugh!.  I’m only telling you this because I am a little gaga with the medications I’m taking and I’m having a bit of trouble seeing through my teary eyes from sneezing.  So, taking that into account, I am not responsible for any typos today, lol.

I have to say this little panda from the most popular free Sale-a-bration stamp set, Party Pandas, 147221 made me smile this morning, bless his heart.  🙂  This stamp set is free with a $50 Merchandise order.  I love free stuff!

I wanted to show you an alternative to having this panda hold a balloon in your scene.  I teamed the Panty Pandas bear up with the Artistically Asian Bamboo stamp.  Darling, right?

Heartfelt Chickadee – Stampin’ Up! Card

Heartfelt Chickadee

Hello there,

Tis the season for my husband to start bringing home viruses from work and sharing them with me, yuck.  I’ve been down and out for a couple of days now and just now have felt well enough to be stamping again.  But even as I write this post I feel my energy level dropping by the moment.  Good thing I started stamping the moment my eye were open this morning.  I see another drug induced day ahead of me with lots of rest and liquids.

Good thing my illness has not stopped my creativity mojo.  I just love this little chickadee from the New Petal Palette stamp set and wanted to flood the sky of his world with some great sunlight.  It makes me happy envisioning this little guy soaking up the warm sun.

Waterfront – Stampin’ Up! Card

Waterfront

Hello there,

I’m in heaven, I get to use the new Stampin’ Up! Waterfront stamp set now that the new Occasions catalog has been released.  Well I could have used it prior to that but you wouldn’t have been able to order it and I just don’t have the heart to tease you like that.

This versatile stamp set has tons of great elements for those scenery cards I love to make so I will be getting lots of milage out of this set.  You can go from the mountains to the desert and on to the beach with these images. 🙂

Today I created a little mountain scene and it came together so effortlessly using these stamps, love it!  This card leans towards the masculine side so I considered not putting a ribbon on it.  Glad I reached for the Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon after all.  That ribbon pulled the card together and it ties like a dream!
