Beachy Scene – Stampin’ Up! Card

Beachy Scene

Hello there,

Have you checked out the Beachy Little Christmas Stamp set.  It has great Winter sentiments but, it also has plenty of images that can be used year round which makes this stamp set an extra value.  I kept the lights on the palm tree white and that way I can use it for the holidays or for any festive occasion, like I said great value!

144857

I also used the new Stampin’ Blends Markers, they go on like butter and I certainly don’t miss the lines in my coloring.  They blend like a dream which makes us all look like artists!

Winter Reflection

Hello there,

I was in the mood for a Winter scene today so, I pulled out Soft Sky and Soft Suede  to use in my design.  I love these colors together and the Soft Sky has such a cold look in Winter scenes.  Added a piece of my favorite Designer Series Paper, Foil Frenzy in Soft Sky to the layout.  You only need a strip of this DSP so it goes a long way.  🙂

Foxy Surprise – Stampin’ Up! Birthday Card

Foxy Surprise

Hello there,

Ever get one of those ideas that you just cannot get out of your head?  Well, today’s card was created with one of those ideas.  This has been swimming around in this brain of mine for a while and it was time to put it on paper.

I love all of the critters that can be made with the Foxy Friends stamp set and Fox Builder Punch but the Fox it’s self is my favorite.  He is super cute peeking around a tree, SURPRISE!  Perfect for a Winter Birthday.

Lamp Light – Stampin’ Up! Card

Lamp Light

Hello there,

Showing light in a scene is usually about what isn’t there instead of what is there when it comes to color.  Leaving those white areas is the key.  🙂

I left this card without a bunch of embellishments to make it more wallet friendly when mailing.  By adding a panel of the Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper it still has that festive holiday feel.
