Paper Pumpkin Stamp Storage Solution

Hello there,

Are you like me and love to get those Paper Pumpkin kits in the mail each month.   Well, each kit comes with an exclusive stamp set.  Here is a quick and cost effective way to store those stamp sets.  They are just to wonderful to throw in a box, why not a quick cute Project Life 6″ x 8″ album.

My album was inspired by Connie Stewarts album and it literally only took me about 15 minutes to pull together.

You will need one album, 1 pack of pages inserts, card stock of your choice in color, I used Delightful Dijon.  Cut the card stock into 3″ x 4″ pieces for the small pockets and 6″ x 4″ for the larger pockets.  Put the card stock in the pockets, add your stamps, put them in the album, inside done!

DSC_0001_edited-2 For the outside I added an 6.5″ x 8.5″ piece of Mint Macaron Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 6″ piece of Watermelon Wonder Card stock,  one of the Paper Pumpkin logo pieces that comes in each Paper Pumpkin box you receive to the front of the album with Fast Fuse adhesive.  I also wrap a piece of Mint Macaron Ribbon around the cover and tied it in a bow.  Project done, a problem solved and it is cute besides.

Layered Vintage Leaves – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

Leaf images are not just for the Autumn Season.  We tend to forget about our leaf stamps through Spring and Summer.  Today’s project shows just how great the leaves in the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves stamp set are  used outside of the Autumn Season.

Today’s tutorial will show you how to layer those leaf images with the embossed embossed technique.  I think you will be surprised how this comes together.  🙂

Hello there,

I have one happy dragonfly in my project today.  I do believe he is smiling while flying around in the field of flowers.  🙂  I know I’m smiling since I got to use the Awesomely Artistic Stampin’ Up! Cucumber Cool Down – Chicken Update

It’s been so hot here lately, which is awful for us but we can escape to air conditioning or sit in front of a fan etc. to cool off.  What about the outside animals/birds.   Well my spoiled girls get ice cold excess veggies to help cool them off.

We sure grow enough veggies to share with the girls.  Today we had excess cucumbers.  I get them good and cold by putting them in the freezer for just a bit.

Then they get to eat those chilly cucumbers under the shade tree.  The chicks seem to enjoy them as well.

Anywhere In The World – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

It’s been a while since I stamped a collage style card.  They are super fun because I can get messy and pull together stamp sets that I normally wouldn’t.  I’m always surprised with how things turn out.  Believe me it is never ends up how I had envisioned when starting, but I’m always pleased with the results.

Convention and a Chick Update – Wow! They are Growing

Hi All,

Well I’m back from convention.  I had a wonderful time as always, learned a ton, seen a ton of new stuff too.  I’m back with great ideas and I cannot wait to share them with you, but first I must play the catch up game.  So, since I’ve no time to stamp at the moment I thought you would enjoy seeing how Momma Goldie and the chicks are doing.

I found them resting peacefully under a tree this afternoon. The chicks are now a month old.  The little black one is a bit camera shy.  Actually, it’s a bit afraid of the human that is holding the camera, lol.  These chicks will think of me differently since I did not hand raise them like I have all the others. I’ll win them over later with treats, lol.

When I approach them to get some pictures all of nosy girls followed me to see what was up and disturbed their peaceful scene.

I put a little bit of cracked corn down for the girls and the babies got right in the mix trying to get them some too.

They are really getting along well.  Their Momma sees to that!  I have witnessed in horror as one unlucky chicken got a bit too close to one of the chicks and the next thing I know Goldie is standing on the hens back pulling out feathers.  Yep, that only need happen once and everyone gets the idea that she is not playing around.

It is extremely funny that Motherhood brings out such aggression when our offspring are being threatened.  Goldie has always been at the bottom of the pecking order but as a mother she is feared and respected.

I will need to think up names for the chicks but I first want to see if they are Roosters or Hens and that will not happen for about 6 more weeks.

Before I sign off today, I want to thank each and everyone of my customers and my team.  On awards night at Convention I found out that I made FOUNDER’S CIRCLE for the fifth time, which means I am in the top 100 of the company out of over 40,000 demonstrators.  It blows my mind!  I do know that I couldn’t do it without you!  Thank you for being so loyal my friends.  I love you!

See that big flower in the photo, they were everywhere at convention.  I wanted them but I just could not figure out how to smuggle them out, lol.  They would have been awesome in my office though.  🙂  Darn, I will have to think of a way to make them.

I will be back tomorrow with a fun project after I get a few things caught up and some much needed rest tonight, lol.
