Hello There,

So, has everyone recovered from the holiday weekend, eaten all the left over turkey, fixing and pie?  I ended up putting all of our left over turkey into pot pies and stored them away in the freezer for another day.  🙂  I love freezer meals, they have gotten me through some rough days.

Anyhow, check out today’s card.  I love the flash of red from the little bird in this scene.  It just draws you in.  The bird is from the Stampin’ Up! set Everything Eleanor (124164).  This set must be in my top five for use.  I have used it, used it and used it some more.

Blustery Winter – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hey There,

Well do you believe Thanksgiving has come and gone.  Whew!  time flies.
This morning I rolled out of bed craving the piece of pumpkin pie that I just could not eat yesterday because I ate way to much turkey with all the fixings.   So pumpkin  pie and coffee got me going today.  Breakfast of champions or stampers, right? At least for the day after Thanksgiving.  🙂
I’ve got a frosty card for you today and I cut the main image panel in pieces to give a window effect and to add some interest.  Hope you like it.

On Wednesday I had on my to do list to make and can homemade whole berry Cranberry Sauce.  Actually, this has been on my to do list for some time but just kept getting moved to a later date.  Well the day before Thanksgiving was my very last chance to get it made to use for dinner on Thursday so that’s when it got done, sound familiar?

Hello there,
I decided to take a break from all of the holiday cards to create this peaceful scene using the direct to paper technique.  This scene does not represent what is happening in my own backyard however.  I woke to a dusting of snow on the ground.  The chickens popped their heads out the coop door this morning and gave me a look that said “what the heck?”.
I’m so with them.  I’m not ready for Winter at all.
Now today’s  card can be given for so many occasions.  Great one to have on hand.  I would feel comfortable giving this card to either a male or female.
