Hello Stampers,

Sometimes you just want to pull a tried and true technique out of your arsenal and today I did just that.  I used the spotlighting technique for this Autumn card and the Soft Seedings stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  This card whips up fast and you can use any of the wonderful sentiment from the stamp set inside this all occasion card.  The font for the sentiments is so beautiful.

Sunset cards are so fun to make.  I just love how you can layer a few colors together to get the perfect sky for your scene.  Today I added a pine tree image from the Stampin’ Up! set, Peaceful Deer.  This single stamp is all that was need for this scene.  I think you will have fun creating this card too.   You can do it!!!!

Peaceful Deer in the Woods Card

Hello Stampers,

Today’s card uses wet watercolor paper, stamps and ink to create a watercolor snowy background for my card.  Such a fun and simple technique but it creates a lovely scene.  This card would even make a great Christmas card for those of you who are on the ball and knocking out your holiday cards early.

Enjoy Your Day Card

Hello Stampers,

Do you tend to pull out a stamp set to use and look no further for images to coordinate or complete your scene?  Today I decided to use the great tree stamps from the Treasured Kindness stamp set and team them up with the Heron Habitat stamps and dies bundle, so fun!  I like to look through my current Stampin’ Up! catalog for images that will go together so I can get more use out of my stamps, plus create some really unique cards to boot.

I found just adding that grassy looking die cut from the Heron Dies set in the foreground really makes this scene complete.  I also created that great sun using direct to paper.

Hello Stampers,

Today I’m using an image out of one of my favorite stamp sets, Bamboo Beauty.  This stamp set is in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog and I have used it so much.  Today I wanted to show you how you can use just the leaves to create a nice sunset scene.  For added interest I cut the main panel into sections a bit.   Such a simple thing to do but, very effective.
