I’m so very happy to be back in my craft room after take a week off to start recovery from Gallbladder surgery, yuck! When the surgeon said it would take two weeks to recover, I’m like whatever, I’ll bounce right back, not! I’m so happy it is over with. Now to get back to normal, well as normal as I was before, lol.

In my card creation today I used the Plentiful Plants stamp set by Stampin’ Up!, 155693. I also used a couple fun and easy techniques to bring some life to my scene, such as, adding cast shadows and a simple counter top look for the cute plant to sit on. Any time you can add just a simple shadow it will breath life into a simple image. Have some fun with this idea. 🙂

Unfortunately, in this covid and flu world we live in right now, get well cards are a must to make and have ready on hand. From personal experience, I can tell you it really lifts your spirits to get well wishes in the mail. Really nice to have happy mail among the medical bills when you check the mailbox. So, with that being said, I have a cute get well card project for you today. I pulled out the Back on Your Feet stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create this card. Even though that poor turtle is distressed, he is so cute! So are the other critters in the stamp set as well.
