Hello Stampers,

Today I decided to let the main image panel scene just shine on this card.  By keeping the layering format very simple and leaving off any additional embellishments my scene is front and center.  I love this clean look, but of course you can add as many embellishments you would like.  Keeping it embellishment free is also a postage saver, oh yeah!

Hello Stampers,

If you follow me, you have probably noticed I don’t stamp a lot of flowers.  Don’t get me wrong, I love flowers and flower cards.  But, when I do stamp with them I like them to look a bit more like a painting than a stamped image.

I came up with this Emboss Resist Stampin’ Blends Technique to give the flowers more of the look I love.  I hope you enjoy it too and are inspired to get inky today.  :).  Remember, it is such a stress reliever, so good for you.  I say that from personal experience.  I certainly would be in a padded room if it were not for my crafting chill time.  How about you?

Hello Stampers,

On Occasion, a card scene or piece of art will remind me of someone.  Today’s card reminds me of my willowy, beautiful Grand Daughter, Aubrey.  Her personality is just so chill and breezy.

Oh how I love this girl, my heart just melts when I look at her.

I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set and Parisian Flourish 3d Embossing Folder for this project.  I especially love how the light branch reflection turned out in the water on this one.  :). Chill and breezy like my girl, Aubrey.

Sorry for the ear worm song, but I just could not keep myself from humming the Little Mermaid song while stamping this card.  🙂

I created this fun ocean scene using the direct to paper technique and the stamps from the Seaside Notions stamp set, 149278.  The sentiment and cute stitched die labels are from the So Sentimental Stamp Set, 151691 and coordinating dies, 151690.
