Hello Stampers,

To say I’m excited for the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog to go live tomorrow is an understatement.  There is some really good stuff in there you won’t want to miss.  Like the Stampin’ Up! Best Catch Stamp set I used in today’s project.  It’s item number 148598, be sure to mark it down for your order.  I only used two of the stamps in the set and I cannot wait to use the others.  Having two son’s and a husband who love to fish makes this stamp set a must have for this family.  I bet you know a fisherman or women or two.

Wishing you a year that’s healthy, promising, exciting, inspiring and full of creative fun!

I’m taking today to ponder and appreciate this coming year.  I have big plans to  lose weight and get healthy (like everyone else, LOL)  But I’m also going to do my part to help save the bees by expanding my Apiary.  I have kept two hives up until now so it’s time to grow, grow, grow.  The USA is losing our bees at an alarming rate of 30% or more each year.  Scary to think of our world without our pollinators, right?  I’m sure you will see some of this adventure on this blog in the future.

I plan on growing and canning a lot of our food.  I will also continue to be a good Chicken Momma, love my girls.

I’m also very excited to get to share and play with all of the new products Stampin’ Up! has coming out on January 3rd along with Sale-a-bration starting.  Woot Woot!  The best time of the year!  Free product, oh yeah!

Flourish Thinlits Dies Set so, it is black on black.  This doesn’t translate well in pictures but it is gorgeous in person and a wonderful way to add interest to your card without taking the spot light off of your main image panel.

Thinking of You Kitty – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stamper,

Creating a scene today with a very limited palette of colors, Gray and White.  Add a punch of Merry Merlot and it really sings!  Merry Merlot is such a rich color, almost regal, I love it.

As for the kitty in the scene, this would be a rare moment since cats don’t like to get their bottoms wet or anything else for that matter.  🙂  I know my Sadie wouldn’t want to set her royal behind on anything cold.  She uses my Stamp and Scrub as a throne to sit on instead of my cold desk, silly girl or maybe I should say smart girl!
