Hello Stampers,

Let’s make a little scene!  I love the look of a scene on a leaf shape.  How much more of a nature scene could you make?

The deer image from the Stampin’ Up! Seize the Day stamp set is the perfect size for this project.  I chose to make this a night scene so, I could use it anytime of year but, wouldn’t this be wonderful in golden sunlight with Autumn colors too.

Hello Stampers,

A little tip today, make your focal image really pop by layering light colored images behind it.  Splashes of light color enhance the image, not overpower it.  🙂

This card design can be used for many occasions through the end of Autumn.

Adding love inside your card design

During one of my card classes I spied one of the attendees adding a heart in the center of her panels with the glue she applied.  Come to find out she always does this to add some love for the recipient to each layer.  What a wonderful practice!

I’m stamping with the new Stampin’ Up! Still Night stamp set, 147670, LOVE IT!  I decided to use out of the ordinary colors for the owl and branch, why not?  I didn’t want my scene to look Halloweeny so I could use this as an everyday card.  I love his Pool Party feathers, they look like cloak.  🙂

Autumn Woods

Hello Stampers,

It’s that time of year to start thinking about Autumn and the cards we will need during the season.  I for one always look forward to making Autumn cards because I so love the color palette.

One of the first things you will notice about the card is it’s size, 4″ x 9″.  This is a Wow! card size which fits in a #10 sized business envelope.  The #10 size envelopes can be purchased just about any where, I got mine at Wal-mart.

I used the tree stamp from the  new Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods stamp set for today’s Autumn card.  You can’t name a set with trees in it Winter Woods and not challenge me to use it other seasons.  I love it for Autumn as well.  I can just envision it for Spring and Summer too.
