Any how, I wanted to show in today’s free video how to use two of the little stamps from the popular Stampin’ Up! Set, Painted Lavender.  Sometime we over look the little images in stamp sets, well at least I do.  Today I challenged myself to use the a little flower image and the little butterflies to create this topiary looking scene.

I’m playing with a new color combo, well new to me. . . . .

Don’t you just love when you just happen to put together some unexpected colors and it makes your heart sing!

This color combo turned out to be soft with a little drama (pretty peacock) thrown in and perfect for a pretty little feminine Hills of Tuscany card.  I think it is wonderful for Spring too, what you do think?

Sweet Citrus Card

Hello Stamping friends,

 
I hope this post finds you happy and healthy.  I’m happily stamping away in my craft room.  The sun is shining outside and that took my thoughts to a bright and cheerful card scene.  I usually don’t gravitate to stamp sets which feature fruits and vegetables, but I could not resist the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Citrus stamp set with all those super cute sentiments.  I mean really “Sending you a big squeeze”, “have a zesty birthday”,  “Enjoy the sweeter things in life” and “Thanks a bunch”.  Someone had their thinking cap on for those, right?

I’m also drawn to the fact the images of the fruit are cut into different sections (poses), this makes it so much easier to set up a little still life scene with them.   Don’t forget these images would be great for a Summery background too.  Don’t just think oranges, think limes, lemons and grapefruits!

Serene Feathered Flight Card

Hello Stamping friends,

It’s been a little bit since I’ve been able to get into my craft room and stamp.  My knee surgery went well and I’m now on the other side of it and healing nicely.  Thank you very much for the well wishes and cards I received, I’m blessed for sure.
 
I had no idea just how much I got up and moved around while I stamped until I couldn’t.  Anyhow, I’m happy to be getting to stamp a bit now and hope to be back to full out right craft mode very soon.  
 
I decided to stamp a nice serene card for you today using the Feathered Flight and Delicate Forest stamp sets.  For my color combo, I knew I wanted something very cool in tone (aka chill), so I used Boho Blue and White.  I love the way it turned out.

Yikes!

Hello Stampers,

I’m going to be out of commission from stamping for a week or so.  I’ve got a torn meniscus in my knee and a bunch of jacketed up cartilage.  Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday.  Anyhow, I really need to stay off of it so, I’ll be chilling for a while.   Although, I won’t be posting projects I’m here to answer any product questions etc.  I’ve got my leg propped up and laptop on my lap so feel free to contact me.

I hope this post finds you happy and healthy.   I’m currently under the weather so today I picked a sunny subject to put on my card today for a little pick me up.  So, how about a beach scene?  I picked out the perfect stamp set, Beach Day from Stampin’ Up!   This stamp set is loaded with fun beach images, such as the surf board image used here.   These surfboards can be colored any way you would like and can even be cut out designer series paper, how fun is that!  Check out the step by step video tutorial below.
