A chocolate cupcake, what’s not to love!  Especially when it is created with a three step stamp set, Sweet Cupcake Item 141498 and makes this cupcake so easy to shade that gives this image such a realistic look.   Of course, you can make this cupcake any color (flavor) you want, yummy right?

This magical fairy card made with the new stamp set Fairy Celebration, #141554 would be so perfect for a little girl.  I even went out of my comfort zone and added glimmer paper for that sparkle most girls like.  Glitter girl I am not, however!  When I touch glitter it ends up on me, the cat and my husband.  That stuff really travels!

I think the card was screaming for glitter so I added it.  🙂  It adds that magical touch.

I love an image that colors itself.  This bear is stamped in three easy numbered steps.  I gave this old time looking girl a bright pink bow like you would see in old black and white photos. Remember those photos where they would add a little color to a baby’s cheeks or a ladies lips?

For a boy baby card all you would would need to do is change out all the pink for blue.  🙂

On another note. . . .

We welcomed this little fuzz ball into the world on Sunday.   Her name is Roxy (or Rocky).  Time will tell.  🙂  She was the only chick that hatched out of 7 eggs.  As you can tell by the look in momma’s eye, she will be protected!  I snapped this pic when they took a 15 minute stroll in the yard.  Then they went back to the nest for a nap.  It was quite the adventure for a 2 day old chick.

Hey There,

I wanted to post this card last night but the world had other plans for me.  Our internet was down for some unknown reason, shesh, it was like my right arm was cut off.  Everything I went to do required the internet.   This reminds me that I am way to connected to the computer.  . . . . You just don’t realize it until you can’t use it.

I’m excited to show you today’s project because it uses a stamp set that is a bit different, Stampin’ Up’s Wherever You Go, 141951.  It has some really different stamp elements.  For those of us that do scenes on our cards it is a breath of fresh air!

The bridge has this cool industrial feel, great for those hard to come up with masculine cards.  I’m sure I will take the sunrays and birds to the beach on an upcoming creation also.  Anyhow, I love it!

Let the Sun Come Down on Me – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hey there,

Today’s card is created with one stamp image, the tree from the In The Meadow stamp set, 140754.  I used it, of course, for the tree images, but also the bushes.  Adding bushing in the background gives this scene quite a bit of depth.

To add depth is simple when you think about layers of images.  Build your scene from back to front.  I started with my sky with the moon image, bushes and then the foreground.  🙂
