Hello there,

To say I love the brayer is an understatement.  You can achieve some very pretty scenes using it.  Today I used the brayer to create this sun lite water scene.  I used some bright colors but off set them with some nice cool colors to not lose the serene feeling.  I hope you like it and that it inspires you to get out those stamps today.

Hello there,

I just can’t tell you how much fun it is to create a layered scene using the Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect Stamp Set.  The main images in this stamp set have 3  numbered stamps that you layer to create very detailed finished image super easy, such as the hummingbird and flowers.

In today’s tutorial I will show you how to layer these images with a flourish from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set to create even more depth in the scene.

It’s a little strange the way my mind works, We are suppose to get our first snow fall this morning here in my area of Ohio and what am I stamping?  That’s right, a beach scene, lol.  Well, I know it is warm even hot in a lot of locations throughout the world, I guess I’m wishing I was there with my toes in the sand.  If you are in a cold region like me, we can at least think and stamp warm thoughts.

Today’s main image comes from another rocking nature stamp set, Picture Perfect, item 140520.  This realistic stamp set has two and even three step stamp images for super easy coloring of those images.

I put a “thanks” sentiment on this card but it would also be wonderful as a Birthday or thinking of you.  🙂

Hello there,

I’m so excited to have such a wide variety of new stamping supplies from the new  Stampin’ Up! Occasion catalog to use.  As always, I lost my mind and purchased almost everything in it.  But, you want to see it used right? So that is why I had to, lol.  That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

I mean how could I not buy the In The Meadow stamp set I used today.  Holy cow!  I love these images.

In today’s tutorial I’ll show you how to get a nice warm brown on the deer by layering color and how to layer objects in your scene to get depth.  🙂

Hello there,

Things have settled down around here from all the holiday fun.  Russ went back to work this morning after having a week off.  Not sure why but, I always have trouble getting things done when he is at home.  I guess because he is on vacation I think I should be too.  Also, when he is home I feel like everyday is Sunday and I totally lose track of what day of the week it is, crazy.

Anyway, I am happily back in my studio stamping away.  I couldn’t resist using a few new products that will be out TOMORROW!!!  That’s right, tomorrow the new Occasions catalog goes live and it is also the start of our yearly Sale-a-bration event where you earn free products for every $50 of merchandise you purchase.  I will put up links here to both the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure in the morning.  They are fantastic so be prepared to view them with your feet up and a cup of your favorite beverage.

Now for today’s project I used a new stamp set called beautiful Ride, item #140738.  It has some really fun elements in it, plus this couple that is clearly in love.  I teamed the set up with a brand new fancy frilly die cut heart called Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies, item number 140621.  I die cut it out of the beautiful new Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper, item #140550.  Many, many Valentine cards will include this paper this year, it is stunning.

Good morning and happy last day of 2015.  Do you believe it?  Time just flies by.

Well this is my last project of the year and I’m excited to get to play with a brand new framelits die set, Cups & Kettle, item #140624.  So many possibilities with these dies and they match a new stamp set too, always a plus.  The dies and stamps will be available on January 5th when the new Occasions Catalog goes live, be sure check them out.

I show cased the cups and spoon with a handmade background of faux wood and shelf.  This background can be used for many different projects.  🙂
