Hello There,

This morning I found myself needing a thank you card for a friend and since it is Autumn, out came my Stampin’ Up! Gently Falling set.  If I need a leaf this is my go to set.

I created my own background so I could incorporate all the colors that I had envisioned for this Autumn project.  The gold leaves  and gold sentiment really set this card off and give it that rich look.

Hello There,
I’m moving a bit slower than usual, I’m under the weather with sinus issues.  Tis the season here in Ohio for that.
Even though I’m not feeling well it doesn’t stop me from stamping.  Gotta love a hobby you can do when your down.

Baby it’s Cold Outside!

We woke to our first snowfall this season.  It’s times like this I am so very, very thankful that I get to work from home.  Stampin’ Up! I love you!!    Luke however, had to go outside and track up the snow.  It was  a quick trip, brrrr.

Working from home, I do have to put up with this guy, my husband Russ.  As I was taking the picture of our snowfall, Russ says “you should take a picture of me and write about how awesome I am”.  So here it is. . . . Russ is awesome, lol.    Such a small price to pay for getting to wave goodbye to him from our warm doorway as he heads off to work.  So sorry, you had to suffer through that though.

Now about today’s project, I love doing sunset snow scenes.  They just pop and make me happy.  This is the best color combo for those sunset snow scenes, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze.  I teamed the never old Stampin’ Up! set Lovely As a Tree with the brand new stamp set Endless Wishes.  Endless Wishes is the latest Photopolymer set and it has such beautiful sentiments done in a great script font.   This set sold out once and is now back in stock, hurry and pick it up.  Also, if you haven’t picked up the card stock, ink pad and marker in Baked Brown Sugar what are you waiting for.  This is my new go to neutral color.   Such a great warm golden tone to this color.

Hey There,

I hope this post finds you having a wonderful Autumn weekend.

I woke early this morning to find myself itching to use this new Stampin’ Up! Joyful Christmas stamp set.  What a beautiful fun image to watercolor.  I chose to watercolor the image today to give it a soft look.  I’ve been creating so many masculine cards lately I thought a feminine card was in order.

Now that I have your attention, let’s talk about what is important here, ME! Just one short month ago, I went from this beautiful red headed beauty to this, YIKES, naked, wind blowing on my bare bottom girl.  Molting is a tough thing to go though.  Especially in the North during Autumn when the temps drop and the wind picks up.  But it was all worth it.  See, I did get new feathers, I grew them in 5 weeks and I now look like a different bird all together.  My feathers mostly came in White!

Just ignore the fact that I am trying to figure out how to get my treats out of the food bins, here.  Just look at my beautiful new feathers will ya.  Hmmm, there must be a lever here some where.

Maybe Luke can help.  He’s big enough, but no thumbs. . . . .

Okay, then I’ll just march myself up to the house and demand my treats.
