I’ve been wanting to do this for some time now.  Well, there is no better time than the present!   Let’s do a One on One swap.  You send me one of your card creations using current (no retired) Stampin’ Up! products and a self addressed stamped envelope and I will return that envelope to you with one of my card creations.  Please do not write inside of your card and I will not write inside of yours.  However, you can sign your card on the back.   That way we can use the card for whatever we want.  I will also show off your card creation on my blog at a future date.  I cannot wait to see what you send me!  The deadline is August 15th, so you have a couple of weeks to get one here.  This is going to be so fun!

Are you like me and when you seen the Wild & Sweet Stamp set from Stampin’ Up! your response was “awe.” The three animals in this set could not be sweeter. Today I used the panda bear image and I think it would make an adorable welcome baby, just a note or thinking of you card. I teamed the image up with with my favorite all time card fold, the super easy Book fold. This fold gives you lots of room on the front of the card and it works so well with large images such as the ones in this stamp set.

Hello Stampers,

Have you picked up the Earthen Textures Bundle or better yet the entire collection?  I wanted and got the entire collection, but you don’t have to have the entire collection to start out making wonderful cards and other paper crafts.  Today, I just used the stamp set and created my own background using a simple piece of plastic wrap for my main panel.   I’m so happy with how it turned out.  Of course,  you could add some of the die cuts from the coordinating Earthen Textures Dies if you want to take this project to an even greater level.

Hello Stampers,

Are you one of those early birds that loves to get your Christmas Cards made so they are ready when the busy holiday season is upon us?  I’m raising my hand and shouting me, me, me, I like to get them done early and I love to make a lot of different cards, not just one design.    It’s fun matching the cards up with the people on your list when the time comes, don’t you think?

Anyhow, I was ecstatic to see the new just released online exclusives from Stampin’ Up!  There are Christmas/Winter products!!!!  Whoohoo!  I treated myself to them and today I am using the brand new Horse & Sleigh stamp set.  I know!  You don’t see a horse or a sleigh in my scene today but, you do see the cutest darn rabbit.  I figure people will center their focus on the horse and Sleigh so, you know, there will be lots of those creations coming your way using those images.  I really wanted to highlight the rabbit so it wouldn’t get overlooked.  Here is my Christmas Card for July!  Just think, there are only 24 weeks before Christmas arrives.  :). I BETTER GET CREATING!!!
