Hello Stampers,

I’m back from the stunningly beautiful Country of Norway.    The Stampin’ Up! trip was full of beautiful sites and wonderful fun filled times with fellow demonstrators/friends.  Here are a few pics from the Norway Fjords, it was chilly but unbelievable in their beauty.  Pictures do not do them justice at all.  I was really trying to be in the moment and not take too many pictures.  Sometimes you just need to breathe in a place, you know.

Hello Stampers,

Let me introduce you to the brand new Earthen Textures stamp set and dies bundle from Stampin’ Up!  I am drawn to this bundle because of how creative you can get with the pots.  You can add so much texture to them using the stamps and coordinating dies.  For today’s card I was shooting for a wooden inlay look, too fun!   On top of that, I gave this scene a very bright and colorful background to show off those fan leaves.  The leaves were created using multiple colors so each one stood out against each other.

Hello Stampers,

Do you love “Z” fold cards?  Here is one for you with a bit more length for a little different look.   It is also showing off some images from the Circle Sayings stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  This stamp set has a variety of images and sentiments to take you through a few different occasions.  I just had to use the ocean image right away and it works so well with the quick, direct to paper technique background.  You can also use your favorite designer series paper instead for a super quick card.

Hello Stampers,

Spring is in the air and today I used the beautiful multi-step Pansy Patch stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and created this faux watercoloring looking pansy card.  Since this stamp set is multi-step there is no fussy coloring involved.

This technique gives you a soft watercolor look that is way easier than painting and it can be used with so many of your floral images.

I love this fresh color combo too of Blueberry Bushel, Parakeet Party and Very Vanilla.  So happy to have Blueberry Bushel back!
