Hello Stampers,

When is a negative not a negative?  It’s when you can create a lovely Spring scene by using a negative (die cut) as a mask.  In today’s video I will show you how to create this whimsical card using the Grove Dies, 157844 and a sentiment from the very popular Go To Greetings stamp set, 158763, both by Stampin’ Up!

Of course, you can switch up the sentiment and use this card for numerous different occasions.  Don’t you just love that!

Hello Stampers,

Sometime you need a peaceful scene for a sympathy or get well card.  I like to reach for the Nature’s Prints stamp set with all its foliage images for this type of scene.  What’s more peaceful than ferns in the forest with butterflies flying around them.  I kept my color choices on the cool side, another way to get that peaceful atmosphere.  Just stamping this card was soothing for my soul as well.

Hello Stampers,

.Today I was in the mood to celebrate Spring with this cheerful bird and blossoming branch scene for my card today.  You may not recognize the branch or the bird, they come out of the Happy Hedgehog stamp set.

The branch is really a tree I turned sideways and the bird image was created to be standing on the ground with a flower in it’s beak, but my mind said why not use them in a different way this time, so I did.  I hope this project inspires you to take a look at the stamps in your collection and use them in a little different way.

Hello Stampers,

Don’t fireflies just take you back to your childhood?  They do me.  I have such fond memories of catching them and putting them in a mason jar with holes in the lid.  I would put a handful of grass and a stick in with them.  I always felt bad for them the next morning and would dump the jar out in the grass, I’m such a softy, lol.
