Love Cats Reflection Card

Hello Stampers,

I found myself playing with the super cute “Love Cats” stamp set from Stampin’ Up! today.  I thought it would be cute to have the cat reflected on a hardwood floor.    It doesn’t show up well on camera but the faux wood floor is heat embossed to give it a super shine.   So cute in person!

The Softer Side of Let’s Set Sail

Hello Stampers,

So often when I see sailing cards they are done in manly darker colors.  Today, I decided to switch things up and use a soft color palette with the Let’s Set Sail stamp set.  This made for a card you could give any gender and it is so peaceful that it could be used for so many occasions.

The Let’s Set Sail stamp set is fun to use because you can stamp your boat and sails separately to create very unique colored boats since the sails and the boat itself are separate stamps.  Don’t over look this set folks, it’s a keeper!

Anytime I can use a stamp set in a bit of a different way it is a win.  It’s certainly helps you get more out of your investment in your stamp sets.  For instance, today’s project is using the very popular, Cottage Rose stamp set from Stampin’ Up!   This is a rose set but I decided the little flowers might look alright as water Lillies so here is my take on that idea.  I hope it inspires you.

Crab at Seaside Bay Card Free Video Tutorial

I’m feeling crabby today, bwahaha, no not really!  I did decide to make the crab image from the new Seaside Bay Stamp set my main image for this card.  I used smaller images from the set to create a beachy background panel to coordinate.  I found this was a great use of those smaller images which may be overlooked in the set.

Dreamy Ballet Beauty Card

Hello Stampers,

In today’s card project I decided to use the smaller of the images in the Ballet Beauty stamp set as my main image and the larger images to create a dreamy/elegant background for it.  I love this look of tone on tone with a pop of white for her dress.  I kept the layout very simple for this card but, you could dress it up further with flowers etc.  I just didn’t want to distract from the pretty simplicity of it.
