Today I created my card using an easy diagonal fun fold.  I like my fun fold cards easy and with a decent size main panel to create a scene on so, this worked out perfectly.  If I’m going to use Designer Series Paper on a project I like to pull it out first and then create a little scene with the colors in the paper instead of trying to match paper to scene.  So much easier!

I used the awesome little tree in the Treasured Kindness stamp set and the Like an Animal Designer Series paper pack together.    I stamped my tree in the colors that are found in the animal prints I used to tie things together nicely.

Hello Stampers,

Hello Stampers,

I found myself playing with the super cute “Love Cats” stamp set from Stampin’ Up! today.  I thought it would be cute to have the cat reflected on a hardwood floor.    It doesn’t show up well on camera but the faux wood floor is heat embossed to give it a super shine.   So cute in person!

Hello Stampers,

So often when I see sailing cards they are done in manly darker colors.  Today, I decided to switch things up and use a soft color palette with the Let’s Set Sail stamp set.  This made for a card you could give any gender and it is so peaceful that it could be used for so many occasions.

The Let’s Set Sail stamp set is fun to use because you can stamp your boat and sails separately to create very unique colored boats since the sails and the boat itself are separate stamps.  Don’t over look this set folks, it’s a keeper!
