At the Pond – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

I created this pond scene by playing around with shapes.  The lily pads are die cut circles, so fun!  The flower image is from the Batik Boutique stamp set from Stampin’ Up.  It’s a beautiful stamp set!  Sometime you just have to look at the supplies you already have and then look at the shapes you want in your scene.  It’s amazing what you will achieve!

Hello Ostrich – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

I’m always trying to find more ways to use my stamps so, today I decided to use just a portion of a stamped image from the “From All of Us” Stampin’ Up! stamp set.

This stamp set has the cutest pile of critters, but you can use the ostrich, monkey and bird all by themselves, just by cutting them out.  Great way to get more use out of them, right?  More use is more value.

I created this fun road scene for the ostrich.  He reminds me of the Road Runner from the Wiley Coyote cartoons, BEEP BEEP!  Okay, so I’m really dating myself.  I’m sure a few of you remember that cartoon, grin.  It’s okay if you don’t want to fess up, I understand.  🙂

So many times I find myself reaching for a couple of stamp sets when creating a scene, although that is super fun to blend them together to come up with something unexpected, today I only reached for the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms stamp set and come up with this very tropical creation.  This set has all the images you need to create that tropical flavored card.

I created a card today that would be perfect for a few different occasions, such as Easter, Sympathy, first communion, etc.  I wanted the cross to really stand out so I used the After the Storm Stampin’ Up! stamp set to create the perfect background for it.

Pampered Pets Cat – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

Our pets are so important to a lot of us.  They are part of the family for sure.  The Pampered Pets stamp set is a great stamp set to use for the pet lovers.  This stamp set can be used for happy occasions and for the sad ones when someone loses a beloved pet.  It covers both dogs and cats too.

Easter Peeps – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

With Spring just two days away, my mind had turned to Spring things, such as, Easter cards.  So, I whipped out my Easter Friends stamp set along with the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and started making this card.  As I looked at the images it dawned on me to turn this card into an eclipse card by die cutting the word Peeps from the scene and popping them up.  The chicks are also popped up to sit on top of the lettering, so cute!

Besides Christmas and Birthday cards what is your most sent greeting card?  For me, I believe it’s the Anniversary card.  Today’s card could certainly be used for an Anniversary but, also a wedding.  Fun and beautiful card to stock up on for your stash.

I used the new Soaring Swallows stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and also created a super soft background panel and coordinating envelope using the new Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks.  I love these masks for quick backgrounds because you can match them up perfectly with the colors in your main image panel instead of using Designer Series paper which you may not have the right colors of.
