I got this fun idea to use circles and ovals to make silhouette people this morning.  Sometimes you just have to play.  It’s how you grow.    I found my little people looking cute sitting in front of my handmade sunset.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Floral Phases stamp set to give it even more of a romantic feel.

Nope, We Are Not Coming Out!

A little bit of a chicken update today.  You know we are getting lots of snow when I go out to tend to the chickens and I don’t have 24 hens at my feet trying really hard to trip me every step of the way.  This is their run this morning.  Not even one chicken foot print in that snow, lol.

A closer look at their coop door. . . .yep they see me but are not going to venture out, oh no.

A little bit (really a lot) of coaxing got this girl to take a step out and then right back in the warm coop she went.

In this picture the girls are busy eating some cracked corn, which they love, love, love.  Want to hear them.  Click on the picture above.  🙂  You will see and hear them eating and making their happy sounds.  I love them.  You need to get girls of your own so you can hear this daily.

Green Trees – Stampin’ Up! Card

Green Trees

Hello there,

I LOVE TREES!!!!  Yes, I’m a tree hugger. 🙂  I love nature and growing things, so quite a few of my stamped creations have trees, flowers etc. in them.  What are you drawn to in your creations?

I also love the fact nature scenes can be used for so many different occasions.

Today’s scene looks a bit like watercolor since I used the Stampin’ Up Sheltering Tree stamp set and soft hues but there is no watercoloring in this project.  I used simple stamping techniques, so fun!
