There are certain cards I like to keep multiples of like, Sympathy, thinking of you and thank you.  It never fails, when you need one of these type of cards there is no time to sit down and stamp one out and there is no way that I will give a store bought card to a loved one or anyone for that matter.  So, I keep a stash of them. It might also help when you have a stack of the same card to keep a little post it note on them with the names of those you have sent them to.  With my memory it is certainly possible for me to send the same card to the same person more than once, yikes!  The post it note list does the trick for me.

Wow this family had the craziest, most wonderful weekend ever.

First of all, we welcomed our third grand daughter, Riley into the world three weeks early.  Apparently, she wanted to be here for my youngest son, Mitch to celebrate Father’s day with him.  I got to be present during the delivery and boy this little girl came out kicking!  Watch out world, Riley Marie is here!

Hello there,

It’s been a few days since I have gotten to stamp and I was having serious withdrawal!  This morning I just had to take the time and get my stamping therapy before I called the doctor and asked for anxiety meds, lol.  I’m totally kidding about needing the medication but stamping does have a relaxing effect on me.  I can just tune out the world when I am creating something.  Do you find that to be the case when you are stamping?

Anyway, the brand new Fabulous Flamingo stamp set was just what I needed to use today to get my creative release.  It has some wonderful elements in it that are just perfect for my style of stamping.
