I’m having a bit of fun today using the little trees in the new On the Horizon stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This tree image is the perfect size for small panel scenes or for use in your scene backgrounds. Sometimes it’s hard to find a tree image small enough for those uses.

I used the trees as my main focal point today and I think this little scene is awesome! I also came up with this unusual layout to add interest to this card. I hope you are inspired. 🙂

Hello Stampers,

I think it’s one of the nicest things you can do for someone, send them a card just letting them know you are there for them. It’s a great feeling knowing someone has your back. Hello Stampers,

I am having so much fun using the new Seas the Day stamp set by Stampin’ Up! this week. My last crabby card was created using the same set and since the stamp set was still out on my desk. . . . . . . . well you know how it is, right? I took one look at those fish and got all excited to make an anniversary card. It is so nice having two fish in the set facing different directions, super fast to stamp them out to have them kissing. You could also just have them facing each other like they are talking. I love it!

I love the images in this set since they are not really cartoony. I tend to lean towards stamps that are more realistic in appearance, how about you?

I left all embellishments off of this card too. Sometimes you just don’t need the bling.

I pulled out yet another brand new stamp set from Stampin’ Up!, Honeybee Home. Bee’s and flowers, what’s not to like, right?

I created today’s card using very feminine colors, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and then brought on the pink and white flowers to pop against all the purple. I even added a bit of the new Hive 3D embossing folder on the two white strips in this simple, yet effective layout. I hope you like it too and you are inspired to create it yourself. 🙂

Hello Stampers,

Tell me, what was the very first stamp set out of the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog that you just had to put on your list? Well for me it was this Crane of Fortune stamp set. Yep, it was on my very first order for sure.

I have about a gazillion background ideas floating around in my head for this beautiful bird and the other images in this stunning set.

What is really wonderful is you can stamp this bird and the stamp does all the work of coloring the image. I stamped this image in black and added no other color. The shading the stamp makes is out of this world! Talk about quick.

I thought it only fitting to bath this crane in moonlight and have the light also shine on the water in this scene.

Hello Stampers,

I’m so very happy to be back in my craft room after take a week off to start recovery from Gallbladder surgery, yuck! When the surgeon said it would take two weeks to recover, I’m like whatever, I’ll bounce right back, not! I’m so happy it is over with. Now to get back to normal, well as normal as I was before, lol.

Any how, you came here to see a card creation I bet. Well I’ve got one for you using the beautiful new Oceanfront stamp set, by Stampin’ Up!

The Oceanfront stamp set has all the stamps to create some very lovely scenes that look like you painted them using your watercolors and brushes. This is just one of many cards I will be creating with this set I’m sure.
