Hi Stampers,

Using the reverse image technique is another great way to get better use of your stamps.  Reversing an image is so easy and can be used to make a buddy for an image, like I did today or you can make a reflection of an image for water scenes or shadows on the ground.

This would be a cute anniversary card as well if you made the images a bit closer together.  🙂

I love gardening, even though I don’t have a green thumb.  You need to be a pretty tough cookie (plant) to live in my garden.  I also, love garden themed cards.  I like cards with flowers on them, but I want to see the pots they are in, lol.  I also love old pots, not the new and shine ones.  I guess the old pots have that secret garden feel, do you know what I mean?

My card today using the new Basket of Blooms stamp set, 153305 is SWEET, in my opinion.  I gave this card an over all old mossy feel for that secret garden touch.

I hope your holiday weekend was a good one.  Did you get to see fireworks?

Russ and I headed to our backyard when it got dark on the evening of the 4th and boy oh boy, did our neighbors put on a firework show, it was great.  We live in a rural community, lots of farm land and people are not shy about making noise around here.  I think the fireworks have been going off for about a week prior to the holiday as well.

Where does the time go?  I mean really?  My card today with the faux postage on it reminded me of a card I made 16 years ago.  Here it is. . .
