Hello There,

We got our first snowfall here in West Alexandria, Ohio.  About 5 inches.  I have my girls (hens) all locked up in their coop keeping them warm.  It is only 12 degrees out.  Someone please tell Mother Nature that it is still the Fall season, not Winter, brrrr.

I’m snug in my office and I came up with this cute card featuring a cardinal made with the bird builder punch.  This is one of those cards that has been rattling around in my head for about a month.  I’m so happy I got it created and it worked out on paper.  🙂

I’m  knocking out an item on my to do list today, Christmas tags.  The tags I’m doing today really just take moments to make and they are beautiful.  Keep in mind the scene on the tag can easily be used for a main image panel on a matching card as well.

Add the tag to a quick stamped craft box and your ready to give that special gift.  I’m not a fan of store bought wrapping paper so these boxes make my heart sing because they are easily reusable.

Wet Leaf – Stampin’ Up! Card

Today’s card was inspired by my walk out to the chicken coop this morning.  It has been raining for days so a lot of the newly fallen leaves from out trees  are wet and they are now stuck to our wood deck.

On another note. . . . .  .

Our grand daughter, Hailie Jade is staying with us this week.  I like to do as much with her as I can during her visits.  My bright idea was to carve a pumpkin with her.  She was excited right up to the part of the project where she had to clean out the stuff from the inside of the pumpkin.

I’ve never seen a child gag while doing this, but gag she did and all while laughing.  Believe me, Russ and I were cracking up as well.

As you see she survived the terror of pumpkin carving and ended up with this cute cat pumpkin.  🙂
