Soft Tree Reflection – Stampin’ Up! Card

Ahhh, I just want to go sit under this tree, listen to the water trickle by and read a book of poetry, lol.

That would sure beat the heck out of what I see outside my office window today.  Yep, snow! “Uncle, uncle” I cry!  I have had enough.  Are you feeling those end of Winter blahs too?

Well to help combat that, stamp yourself a Spring scene where there is lots of Spring green involved.  Add some soft colors and it sure brings a bit of peace to your mind.  I hope my project today inspires you to do just that.

Easter Bunny – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello There,

Well, the Easter holiday is just around the corner now, so it is time to crank out those Easter cards so I’m not stamping them in a rush at the last minute.  Sound familiar?

I had this card idea in my head for a while.  The thought of the Easter Bunny popping up through a bunch of eggs made me smile.  Also, I was able to use the rabbit out of the Stampin’ Up! Baby set, Baby, We’ve Grown (133089) in an unexpected way, BONUS!  The eggs are out of the Stampin’ Up! Backyard Basics set, another BONUS for using those in an unexpected way also.  I’m making those sets even a better value by creating something out side of the box with them.

On another note. . . . . . . .

Pictured above is 6 Enchilada dishes I put in my freezer.

For the past 2 days I have been filling my freezer full of chicken freezer meals.  57 meals to be exact.  I’m still worn out, but so very satisfied to have so many meals done. 🙂

I discovered this great company, Zaycon Foods to purchase our  fresh, hormon free meat from and at great price. There is probably a location near you that Zaycon delivers too.  Click here if you wish to check them out.

Anyhow, being the over achiever that I am, I purchased 80 lbs of chicken breast, lol.   That’s a lot of chicken!  When I got it home I thought holy cow (or chicken) what did I do, lol.  Needless to say I was glad to get the last of it in the freezer.

Today I am packing and will be hopping on a plane this afternoon to attend my nephew’s wedding in Colorado.  I’m so excited for the happy couple.  Gotta love a wedding.  🙂

Baby Carriage – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello There,

It’s pretty easy from day to day to see what I have on my mind by what I create for the day.  Yesterday it was sunshine and flowers today it’s babies.  Let me explain. . . .

This is my Son, Mitch, Daughter-in-law, Jamie, Granddaughter, Hailie Jade and Grand dog, Slug.    We received this photo from them at a Christmas party.  At first, when I opened it I was just so excited to have a picture of all of them together and then my son says “Mom did you read it”?   Well the tears flowed after that.  We are so excited that they are expecting our second grand child!  What a way to tell us too.  I love this picture!

Also, we got the news that my lovely Niece Sarah is expecting as well.  🙂

So, that is why I have babies on my mind, lol.  What a fantastic job I have where I can wake up in the morning, head to my office on the other side of the house in my pj’s and put on paper what I have conjured up in my mind.  I want to thank all of you for being here on my journey.  I truly hope you glean something from every project you see here.
