Hello there,

I love using stamps in a bit of an unexpected way, like today I used the flowering vine from the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set as flowering tree branches.  I used it over a dramatic late night sky and framed it with a window.  I love the brick embossed panel to ground the window.  🙂

Hello there,

Have you seen this sweet little Easter Lamb in the Occasions catalog.  It occurred to me that this lamb would also be great on a baby card.  Wouldn’t you agree?

I decided to make a card that could be used for either.  It only depends on what you stamp in the card that will determine it’s use.

I kept the scene nice and soft by leaning heavily on the use of pastel colors.

Let’s created our own sunshine today!

Check it out, I used Designer Series Paper, lol.  If you follow my blog you have probably realized I don’t use it often.  When I do, it is because Stampin’ Up! has  created DSP that I find irresistible, such as the new DSP found in the Going Places Paper Stack, item #140581.

I felt the DSP went so well with the Ray of Sunshine stamp set, item #134210.  It just looks celestial.  Also, adding flecks of gold embossing powder really gives the sky a bit of a stardust quality in the main image panel.
