My project today features a technique that gives you a beautiful watercolor effect.  The tulip images in the Timeless Tulips stamp set, 151534 really shine here.  Top them off with some of the dies cuts from the Parisian Dies, 151463 and Parisian Flourish 3d Embossing Folder for a lovely French flair.

Greatest Guy By Par – Stampin’ Up! Card

I’ve got a no frills masculine golf card for you today.  That’s right no bows or sparkly stuff, just like guys like it.  But, I did use the new Clubhouse stamp set and coordinating Country Club Designer Series Paper.  Let me tell you, the hardest part of making this card was picking out one of the Country Club Designer Series Paper Pack.  There were 3 sheet which would be perfect with this little scene and I ended up doing enny meany miney moe to pick which paper to use.  It was very adult like, lol.

Well, I’m bouncing back and feeling well enough to do some crafting but not well enough to do house work today, bwahahaha.  I don’t want to do too much and end up back in bed feeling bad again, right?  I can hear you agreeing with me from here. 🙂

Today, I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty stamp set, item 150528.  This set was featured in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog which just ended at the beginning of the month but, this is one of the stamp sets which is being carried forward and can still be purchased, woot woot!  Good thing, because it is a stunningly beautiful stamp set that can be used throughout the whole year.

Timeless Tropical – Stampin’ Up! Card

Sometimes us Northerners just have to take our minds to a nice warm tropical place, even if it is just with stamps, card stock and ink.  It certainly warms my soul a bit to think about a lovely warm beach.  Don’t get me wrong I love our Northern climate and the change of seasons is awesome but. . . .occasionally this girl needs to think about the tropics.

So my card today was made using the beautiful new Timeless Tropical stamp set found in the new January-June Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog.  There is a whole suite of products to go with this stamp set and here is a Stampin’ Up! video for you to get familiar with the suite, it’s fabulous!

Hello Stampers!

First, I want to wish you a safe and happy New Year’s Eve.  I maybe able to hold my eyes open until 10:00 pm tonight, lol.  Never fails, Russ always has to wake me up to ring the New Year in with him.  I hope you are more of a party animal than I am and enjoy the holiday festivities.

My card today features the stamp set Born to Shine, 149244.  This dancer is certainly enjoying herself.  I envision her dancing in the town square and not caring if anyone sees her.  A reminder that we should all just be who we are, right?

This nice sized card fits into a #10 Business envelope which can be picked up cheaply about anywhere.  🙂
