Hello Stampers,

Sometimes you need a really large sized card to write all that you need to say to someone special.  This card measures 4″ x 9″ and fits in a standard sized #10 envelope.

I certainly took advantage of all the pretty designs in the very popular, Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper pack, 149484 to create today’s card.  

Teamed that paper pack right up with the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Cheer Dies, 151150 from the Holiday Catalog.

For the tiled wall effect I used the Stampin’ Up! Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder, 149575.  I’m finding so many ways to use that embossing folder.

Winter Foxes – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

I think today’s card would be wonderful for a Winter Baby Shower, don’t you.  Of course, it could be used for other occasions as well.  I know there are a lot of people who just love foxes. What’s not to love, especially their striking auburn coats.

I placed the foxes in a little dug out den created with easy color shading.  :).

Hello Stampers,

I decided to not be so serious in my stamping today.  You really need to lighten up your attitude when you are creating juvenile cards, right?  I used the We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set, 149367 and surrounded this cute walrus with additional ice in the water.  Although his piece of ice is extremely little he seems quite chill about it, probably because he is a good swimmer.  Don’t you just love all of his fat wrinkles, lol.

Holiday Treat – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

My card today is all about the festive white and red stripes.  Sometimes all it takes for a scene to look well balanced is to repeat a pattern.  I repeated the stripes in the card layout, ribbon and of course, the candy cane.

Adding simple well placed shadows sure helps with creating a bit of depth in the scene also.

Stampin’ Up! hit the ball out of the park with the Cup of Christmas Bundle, stamps and coordinating dies, so fun to work with!  This card would certainly be a treat for someone on your card list too.

Hello Stampers,

Have you picked up the darling Playful Penguins stamp set yet?  I used it here to make a Winter Anniversary or Wedding Card.  I decked out the layout in Designer Series Papers and trimmed it in Copper Foil to give it that super special/fancy touch.

Also used an easy masking technique in order to pose the penguins together and give the scene some great depth.

I love, love, love when I can put two of my favorite stamp sets together.  It gives me so many options for different scenes.  Especially the Stampin’ Up! Snow Front and Nature’s Beauty Stamp sets which have lots of scenery images.  These two sets are must haves in my opinion.

I used a little bit of Emboss Resist Magic to build this scene.  It worked out just as I imagined, wonderful!
