Hello There,

I hope this post finds you happy and healthy.

I’m on cloud nine.  I received my giant boxes of Stampin’ Up! products that I ordered from the new catalog.  I had to make myself sit down to create this project and stop looking at my new toys.

In today’s project I made some simple flowers in front of a happy sunny background.  I think this card would cheer anyone up and make their day brighter.

Hello There,

To start out this months tutorial projects I decided to do a peaceful reflection scene and dress it up with the brand new file tab Edgelit Dies, Back to Black Designer Series Paper, new corner rounder and the Decorative Dots embossing folder.  Just for an added surprise there are 3 sentiments on this card.  One on the front, one inside the folder and one inside the card.  🙂

Dock – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello There,

Ya know, sometimes it’s not all bad to not put your supplies up.  I had the Stampin’ Up! Wetlands set still out on my desk from my last project and decided to give it another go.  I came up with this dock scene.  In fact this scene has been rolling around in my head for some time now.  I’m glad to get it down on card stock and that it worked out the way I had imagined.  I love it when a plan comes together!

Hello there,

How about a little or I should say a lot of texture in my project today.  Texture in the way of using embossing folders can really take your project from good to WOW.  Also add a bit of ink to accent the embossing and it steps the project up again.

I’ve spent the last two days working like a dog in my yard pulling weeds.  I don’t use weed killer because I grow food for us to eat and I don’t want to be eating weed killer.  So, instead of paying health spa dues I just head out in my yard for exercise.  It’s a win, win, no chemicals in my veggies and exercise to boot.  But. . . . . this morning every part of my body hurts.  This will be the case for a couple of weeks until my body gets in garden mode after a long, long Winter without exercise.  Yep, I’ve been a slug all Winter.

So today’s project is a reflection of just how all those weeds ended up in my yard.  Instead of cussing about it, I decided to make something beautiful about the subject instead.  I’m staying positive.   I hope you like it.

Hello There,

I returned home from my trip on Sunday evening and was greeted by two boxes of BRAND NEW STAMPIN’ UP! PRODUCTS!  The products won’t be available to the general public until June 2nd, when the new annual catalog comes out.  Let me say one thing, you are going to flip out when you see it.

One of the main things I am excited about are the new In Colors, LOVE THEM!  I used one of them today in my project, Lost Lagoon.  Just make a note that you will want everyone of the new colors.  🙂

Hello There,

Well I’ve returned from vacation and I’m refreshed and ready to stamp, stamp, stamp.  I did have to get the yucky stuff out of the way this morning before I could head into my stamp room.  You know, the dreaded unpacking, laundry etc.  But I got it done.  🙂
