Dear Santa Card

Hello stamping friends,

My card today takes me back to when I was little.  My sister and I use to sit for hours on end with the Sears catalog and mark the pages up with the items we wanted Santa to bring us and then write out our letters to Santa.  Our parents probably got a great deal of laughs out of those letters of us confessing to Santa just how good we were that year.

I like to do at least one Christmas card design where I use a few stamp sets together.  Here is one for this year.  I combined the stamp sets Dear Santa, Stamped with Love and Christmas Labels for the inside sentiment. Please don’t forget to add some texture with an embossing folder, this really takes your card to the next level.

The letters from the Stamped with Love set go perfect with the little girl from the Dear Santa set.  There is also a mailbox in the Stamped with Love set you can work into the scene as well!  

Another idea would be to use the darling little girl stamp at the top of your Christmas newsletter.  She can really be used year around with her clothes colored differently, I love that!

Winter In the Grove Card

Hello stamping friends,

Blue moon, la la la la la. . . . .   I’ve got a peaceful chilly scenic card for you today.  With this one I took advantage of the In the Grove Dies and made some long shadows for the trees and the rabbit.  Also added some fun rabbit foot prints.  These little touches sure add a lot to the card.  Hint:  I suggest using cool colors to make your scene look cold.

Peaceful Evergreens Card

Hello stamping friends,

I cannot help myself, I just have to play with the new Peaceful Evergreens stamp set.  Hello!  Great trees, all different sizes, perfect for making those creative scenes you dream up and also perfect for using with all kinds of different stamp set images you already have in your arsenal.  The tree images look just like you painted them when you stamp them, very lovely indeed!

Today I did a super simple Winter reflection card.  For the sentiment I pulled out the Christmas Labels stamp set but really you have room on the main panel to add the sentiment of your choice.
