Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes Starfish Card

Hello stamping friends,

I’m having the best time playing with the brand new Seaside Wishes stamp set today.  I teamed it up with the popular new So Swirly Embossing Folder to create a watery background for the lovely starfish images.  The Seaside Wishes Bundle was the very first item on my want list for the new Annual Catalog so I’ve created 2 projects with it before moving on to another new stamp set.  With so many wonderful new products on hand to show you, you must know, I really love this bundle to use it 2 times in a row!

Hello stamping friends,

I’ve got a little quick tip video for you today.  I found I had some Stampin’ Blend markers that had pretty beat up brush end nibs so, I thought I would show you how I saved a bit of cash and replaced the nibs.  Check out this step by step video below.

Stampin’ Up! Latte Love Card

DSC_0001

Hello stamping friends,

It’s time to wake up and smell the coffee!  It’s super fun to create those coffee cards for your coffee loving friends and family using the new Latte Love stamp set.  This stamp set gives you the option of using the side view images or the over head images and it has a nice coordinating dies set, the Latte Love Dies.

I used the Latte Love stamp set today to create this sunrise scene.  Gotta love coffee or tea for that matter as you watch the sunrise for the day.  Can you tell I’m an early bird, up at 5:00 am most days.  The hubby and I love to watch the sunrise and the early cardinals at our bird feeders each morning.  It really starts the day off right!

Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Mood Card

DSC_0001

Hello stamping friends,

I’m usually not a real flowery type stamper but, I cannot resist the big bold flower stamps such as the ones you can find in the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Mood stamp set.  The images are large and a joy to color.  I also love to create fun backgrounds for them like the one above.  When you make your own backgrounds you can pick any colors combo you want to, of course.  Sometimes, I pick colors I know are the favorite of the person I’m making the card for.  One great thing about stamping, you can tailor make your cards.  So don’t be afraid to try different color combos.

Soft Hills of Tuscany Card

Hello Stamping friends,

I’m playing with a new color combo, well new to me. . . . .

Screenshot 2024-03-28 at 1.46.45 PM

Don’t you just love when you just happen to put together some unexpected colors and it makes your heart sing!

This color combo turned out to be soft with a little drama (pretty peacock) thrown in and perfect for a pretty little feminine Hills of Tuscany card.  I think it is wonderful for Spring too, what you do think?

Sweet Citrus Card

DSC_0001

Hello Stamping friends,

I hope this post finds you happy and healthy.  I’m happily stamping away in my craft room.  The sun is shining outside and that took my thoughts to a bright and cheerful card scene.  I usually don’t gravitate to stamp sets which feature fruits and vegetables, but I could not resist the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Citrus stamp set with all those super cute sentiments.  I mean really “Sending you a big squeeze”, “have a zesty birthday”,  “Enjoy the sweeter things in life” and “Thanks a bunch”.  Someone had their thinking cap on for those, right?
Screenshot 2024-03-20 at 12.05.53 PM

I’m also drawn to the fact the images of the fruit are cut into different sections (poses), this makes it so much easier to set up a little still life scene with them.   Don’t forget these images would be great for a Summery background too.  Don’t just think oranges, think limes, lemons and grapefruits!
