Hello Stamping Friends,

I’m having a blast playing with the More Than Autumn stamp set and dies bundle from Stampin’ Up!   See the bundle below and all of the super fun images and sentiments in it.  Do you love when die sets have words you can die cut, me too and this die set has 8 of them!  

Lattes, coffee, beverages, doughnuts and pies are year around items so you can really think out of the box and use these all year long.  But, they are fantastic for Autumn.   The inside of this card reads “except maybe you”, you can add happy birthday or thank you to the inside for those Autumn events.  This makes me yearn for sweater weather, how about you?

Loving Autumn – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

When I think of Autumn, I think of wonderful colors filtering through the trees with the soft light of a setting sun.  I did my best to recreate what I felt in today’s card with the help of the Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set and the Sweet Silhouettes dies.  I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed making it.  It really hits the sweet spot for me.  🙂

Just look at this lovely Autumn colored card I have for you today.  These colors just make me want to SING!

I have a little tip for you that will give your tree cards a bit of a different look.  This tree is from the Life is Beautiful stamp set, 154871 and the tree is pretty straight as is.  But, since it is photopolymer you can bend it when you put it on your block so it looks like it is being bent by the wind when you stamp it.  🙂

Just check out this cute cat and broom from the Stampin’ Up! Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set.  I love this cat’s laid back expression, he is chilling on that broom, lol.

Guess what?  Today is my birthday and I am spending it doing what I love best, stamping!  I’m playing with a new set that will be released tomorrow when the new Stampin’ Up! Now about today’s project, the stamp set I used is the new Halloween Scares, item #142229.  Love these images.  I used them for an Autumn card.  I love purples and oranges together for Autumn.

This card fits into a #10 size business envelope.  🙂

A little tip, sometimes there is not room to have a lot of card stock layers.  I like to sponge the edges of my main image panel by scraping the sponge against the edge with a dark color.  I use this technique to replace a layer.  Makes your card more cost effective too.

Hello there,

I’ve decked out some leaves from the Vintage Leaves stamp set, item #138802 in gold.

They look like they are going to a black tie event with their little gold and black bow tie.  Add some glowing handmade background panels and you have a truly special card for that special person on your list.

I think this would be a great Autumn Masculine Birthday card, don’t you?
