Hello there,

Guess what?  Today is my birthday and I am spending it doing what I love best, stamping!  I’m playing with a new set that will be released tomorrow when the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is release.  That’s right, tomorrow be sure to check back here where I will have the link to the new catalog, IT IS FABULOUS!

Now about today’s project, the stamp set I used is the new Halloween Scares, item #142229.  Love these images.  I used them for an Autumn card.  I love purples and oranges together for Autumn.

This card fits into a #10 size business envelope.  🙂

A little tip, sometimes there is not room to have a lot of card stock layers.  I like to sponge the edges of my main image panel by scraping the sponge against the edge with a dark color.  I use this technique to replace a layer.  Makes your card more cost effective too.

Hello there,

I know it seems early to be doing Halloween cards but I want you to have a sneak peek of a couple of must have products coming out on September 1st.  Spooky Fun stamp set (141842) and the Halloween Scene Edgelits Dies (141842).  They come bundled too for extra savings (144437).  Now the item numbers won’t work until September 1st, so don’t even try to put them in your shopping cart until then.  Just write those numbers down and be ready to order them.  I don’t have a magic ball but I do foresee this bundle selling like hotcakes.

I went a bit extreme with these items and put this fun sun behind my images.  I am so excited on how it turned out!

Old Crow Halloween – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

I must confess, I love the sights, sounds and colors of Halloween.  Also, there is something really fun about making a wicked looking card.  I guess because it is so different than the normal cards we create that makes it so fun.

There is a lot of depth in this card that just doesn’t show up in pictures.  This is actually a six layer card, holy mackrel!  I must have lost my mind, har har, that has been gone a while now, lol.  I think the layering was well worth it.

Today’s card features the Witches’ Night Photopolymer Stamp set which has great images that can be pulled out of the larger stamps and popped up or used alone.  We can’t forget the treats!  This set also includes super great labels for treat bags and boxes and coordinates with the Lots of Labels Framelit Dies for quick work of cutting them out.

Hello There,

I have my new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog  in hand and a bunch of new stamp sets ready to be inked up, so exciting!  My mind is just whirling with new card ideas for Autumn and even Winter.  🙂

Today’s card was created using the new stamp sets Freaky Friends and Halloween Street.  That is one ugly witch!  I wouldn’t want to meet her in the dark or in the light for that matter, lol.  But she is cute on a card.
