Hello Stampers!

I’ve been finding many uses for the images in the Dashing Deer stamp set.  It is a lovely set for holiday cards but also, a wonderful set for year around as well.  The two smaller deer are super in scenes any season.  Nice to get more bang for your buck with a versatile stamp set, right?

I created a wonderful night sky for this Doe to do her grazing under.  I also challenged myself to use Coastal Cabana and Mossy Meadow together.  I found I really love this combo, it’s nice and fresh looking.  🙂

Leaf Scene

Hello Stampers,

Let’s make a little scene!  I love the look of a scene on a leaf shape.  How much more of a nature scene could you make?

The deer image from the Stampin’ Up! Seize the Day stamp set is the perfect size for this project.  I chose to make this a night scene so, I could use it anytime of year but, wouldn’t this be wonderful in golden sunlight with Autumn colors too.

Hello Stampers,

A little tip today, make your focal image really pop by layering light colored images behind it.  Splashes of light color enhance the image, not overpower it.  🙂

This card design can be used for many occasions through the end of Autumn.

Check out the corrugated panel on this card.  It was created with the new Stampin’ Up! Corrugated Embossing Folder.  This adds so much texture.

Adding love inside your card design

During one of my card classes I spied one of the attendees adding a heart in the center of her panels with the glue she applied.  Come to find out she always does this to add some love for the recipient to each layer.  What a wonderful practice!

Yep, it’s time to turn our attention to projects for the Autumn season.  Today I went batty and created my first Halloween card of 2018.  I know it’s early but I wanted to show you this great Stampin’ Up! set, Spooky Sweet so you can start planning your projects and get what you need in time to create all the cards and goodies for your trick or treaters.
