Hello there,

I had so much fun putting today’s project together.  I just love layering the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies and while doing that the lightbulb went off in my head and I decided to make it an ornament.  The Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies made super quick and easy work of that process.  Added a homemade woodgrain background and there you have it my last project for November.

Christmas Splendor – Stampin’ Up! Card

Good morning,

I have a lot going on in today’s card.  First, I used a color combo that is very rich looking but not your traditional Christmas colors.  Secondly, I used color to create shadows to give the appearance of torn paper in the middle of my main image panel.  Thirdly, I created the textured look at the bottom of the main image panel using beautiful purples.  This card is a finished size of 4″ x 9″ which fits perfect in a #10 sized business envelopes.

Hello there,

I hope this finds you warm and toasty having a fabulous Sunday.  The temperatures here in Ohio have definitely turned to the colder side and it’s feeling more like November since it has been so warm here of late.

I’m continuing to crank out Christmas cards and this one was a fun one to put together.  The snowman die cut out of the main image panel is certainly the focal point of this card, cute right?  I found washi tape to be a wonderful accent for Christmas cards because it is eye catching, super cost effective and adds no bulk to the card for mailing, win, win, win!

Hello there,

I’m back in my office today after a fun filled few days in Baltimore attending the Stampin’ Up! On Stage Local Event.  We got to see the new products that will be in the up and coming Spring/Summer catalog.  I’m so excited!  and so will you be   in January when the new products are out, take my word for it, wink.

But today I get to use current products in my old time creation.  I say old time because this deer and the color combo certainly remind me of my childhood.  I’ve kept this project uncluttered for that retro look to go with the deer image.  For those of you that grew up in the 60’s and 70’s you know what I’m talking about.

 It will be sad to see the holiday catalog end on January 4th because when it ends so many of the products in it will not be available any longer, some will be gone forever even sooner.  To give everyone a heads up, Stampin’ Up! has released the Holiday Catalog Retiring list so you can pick up all those things on your list prior to them being retired or sold out.  Just be aware, the products on the retiring list will be while supplies last from today through January 4th, so once a products sells out it will not be restocked.

Hello there,

I’m in Baltimore, MD having a good time at a Stampin’ Up! event.  I’ve set this post to go off in my absence.   In fact, I created this card before I left to share on a display this weekend at the event.  Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone likes it.
