Hello There,

Happy May!  Can you believe we are already in the fifth month of the year?  Whew, time flies.  The older I get the faster it goes too, lol.  Am I the only one that feels that way?

On this wonderful Spring day I grabbed my Stampin’ Up! Life in the Forest stamp set and made this cute fox card.  I decided to have the fox peeking out from the trees.   I colored the fox to keep his coat really bright so he just pops out in the scene.  Such a cute image, how can you go wrong.

Hello There,

I’m just full of excitement today.  I get to go to the Stampin’ Up! Catalog Premier Party this evening.  I can hardly contain myself.

The most fun part is getting to share this experience with some of my down line and get to see all the new stuff that will be out in the annual catalog on June 2nd.  🙂  I LOVE MY JOB!

Now about today’s project, I like to emboss scenes using the  Square Lattice folder.  It gives it a canvas look and a lot more texture.

Grunged Stars

Hello There,
Tell me, when are you the most creative?
I am most creative the moment my eyes open in the morning.  Maybe because my mind hasn’t had the chance to get cluttered up with my long list of to do items yet.  I started creating early in the morning when my sons were young.  When I say “early”, I’m talking 3:00 or 4:00 am, lol.  At that time of day I had no interruptions and total  peace and quite. I do remember my family was not very fond of me using a hammer to set my eyelets way back then, lol.  Remember that?
I’ve continued to create during the early morning hours even after the boys have grown and moved out. I’ve always been an early riser and early to bed in the evening.  I think I should have been a farmer by the hours that I keep.
Anyhow, this morning was an early morning creating session where I created today’s card.  I combined a couple great sets to make this star studded celebration card.  Stars and celebration just go together.  🙂
I used a bit of coloring technique to get the stars to really stand out.

Hello there,

I live in a rural community with lots and lots of farm land surrounding us.  I love to look out my window and see the fresh plowed fields that have been newly planted and the hint of Spring Green growth popping up.  That really means Spring to me.

I tried to capture that feeling with today’s card.  I hope it gives you a feeling of renewal as it has done for me to create it.
