Hello Stampers,

I thought I would take a break from making my Christmas cards to make this everyday card.  I love images such as this mushrooms stamp from the Walk in the Woods stamp set which are not associated with any event or holiday.  They make great cards just to have on hand to right a note to someone dear.

I teamed the Walk in the Woods set up with the Very Versailles stamp set.  Boy, the Very Versailles stamp set is so great to have on hand, so many uses.  I have just about worn mine out I’ve used it so much.

I kicked todays card up a bit just by the addition of a couple of gold foil elements.  Simple but very effective with the silhouette.

Hello Stampers,

How are you doing on your Christmas cards so far this year?  Have you started them?  I generally start mine in September and I’m happily working away on them.  I like to make a few different ones so it takes me a bit longer an if I cranked out a bunch of the same ones.  There is nothing wrong with making them all the same, I just enjoy coming up with different ones and taking the time for myself to enjoy the process.

In the Pines Reflection – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

This is a fun scene to create by layering the awesome different sized pine trees in the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines stamp set.  I used generation stamping to give the scene some depth.  You can certainly use any colors you want to building this scene, just keep in mind, the further an image is back in the scene the cooler and lighter the color should be.  🙂  Like my scene here, try out some unrealistic colors.

Trifold Christmas Tangle – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

When I was a kid I remember sitting for hours with my Dad untangling Christmas lights.  It probably wasn’t really hours but as a kid it sure felt like it.  Although it was tedious it was also a magical time.  That is just one of the reasons this little elf from the Stampin’ Up! Don’t Stop Believing’ stamp set makes me smile.  Just check out his super cute expression.  🙂

I teamed the elf up with a quick to make background using the new stamp set Curvy Christmas.  Put this cute scene on a great trifold card layout and it turns into an extra special holiday card.

Bright Sun Shiny Day – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

First of all today, I would like to thank all of my customers and my fantastic Stampin’ Up! Team.  Because of all of you I received the honor of being in the Stampin’ Up! Global Top 100, out of over 60K demonstrators world wide, this past weekend at the Stampin’ Up! On Stage event.  I just cannot thank you all enough, you really ROCK! and my heart is bursting with joy!

Also, today in my neck of the woods it is nothing but blue skies and lots of sunshine.  Add Ohio’s colorful Autumn trees and it makes the most perfect day.  So, of course, I had to stamp it out using the Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful stamp set.

I used really bright and beautiful colors to capture the feeling of the day.  I love this Mango Melody and Pacific Point combo together.  The sentiment can be changed for so many different occasions, especially this time of year it would be nice to add “grateful for you” to the card.

Well, now I’m off to the chicken yard to hang out with some of my favorite girls in the sunshine while it lasts.

Feeling Punchy with Punches

Hi Stampers,

This evening I was feeling punchy, literally!  Ya know, I love dies for die cutting, but I really love a stamp set that has a coordinating punch, especially when I have a stack of cards I want to get done in a short amount of time.  So this evening, I got the Stampin’ Up! Gift Wrapped Bundle out (stamp set and punch) and before I knew it I had an elegant stack of finished cards in front of me.

I love the White on White look with the Just Jade ribbon and ink.  Also, I did add a couple of additional punches and an embossing folder, I couldn’t help myself.  Well you know how it is right?  I believe this project needs no tutorial, it was a joy to make.   You can find the complete supply list for this project below.
