Stuck in the Sand – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

I’m currently in my stamp room with a view out of the windows of gently falling snow.  So, of course, I warmed myself up by stamping a beach scene.  I know, I know it is Winter but some of you readers live in warm places and regardless of where you live I’m sure you have a beach lover on your card list.

I think the flip-flops from the new Stampin’ Up! Day at the Beach stamp set look so very cute stuck in the sand.  I can just envision their owners taking a refreshing swim in the ocean.

 Also, just look at all those warm weather scene elements in this stamp set.   It is going to get lots of use, no doubt.

Oh Bumble Bee – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

It’s just a couple of days until the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog goes live so, I’m breaking out my new stamps.  Gotta love new rubber or in this case photopolymer.   The sentiments and bumble bee in this project are in the new Dragonfly Dreams stamp set that will be available on January 4th.  I believe this stamp set will be one of the most popular in the catalog.  It has images for multi step stamping of dragonflies and bumble bees with the most beautiful detailed Dies to coordinate with them in a money saving bundle, item #144728.  Make sure to add them to your list and get them early.

I teamed the Dragonfly Dreams Stamps up with the Timeless Textures stamp set from the Annual catalog.  I love the way this card turned out using a color blocking technique.

Hello there,

Remember paper airplanes?  I remember folding up notes to my friends in school and sailing them over to them in class.  I’m sure that was not allowed but they had important stuff in them, like “do you like me, check yes or no”, lol.  Now that question couldn’t possibly wait until after school, right?

My card today with the paper airplane was made very girlie with by using white and Tempting Turquoise colors and the Rhinestones in the corners.  You can certainly man this card up by changing the colors.  🙂

Bird With Hearts – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

The Stampin’ Up! First Sight stamp set images are so very lovely.  The vines are very easy to use in the foreground of your scenes and that little black bird is super cute to either tuck into the vines or have it hang out elsewhere in the scene.  I put the blackbird on a wire and added a little string of hearts for it to hold, awe right?
