I love, love, love the great outdoors.  I’m the biggest tree hugger you have ever seen.  What about you?  Are you a camper or a glamper?  Or do you love to view the great outdoors from you hotel room balcony?

Hello Stampers,

I created a watery background for the images from the Whale Done stamp set by laying sponged blue and green inks.  Using the die cut shapes from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies adds the look of an aquarium window.  Top it off with the reversible ribbon and Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper.  What a great ocean card you have then!

Hello Stampers,

I’m going to say this card would be a great masculine card.  Don’t get me wrong, it could be given to a female also.  I’m pointing this out since not all cards that are female in nature can be given to a male.  Someone always shoots me an email when I say a card is masculine saying they would give it to a female as well, lol, so I thought I would clear that up.  🙂

Tomorrow the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog goes live, whooohooo!  I could not be any more excited.  The new products are awesome!  Be sure to pop back over here to my blog tomorrow to check out info on some of the great new products and to get the new catalog link.

For today’s card I pulled out a new bundle from the catalog, Celebrate Sunflowers to use for this big bold card and had a great time using some, not so typical, colors.  How fun is this, the flowers just seem to jump off the card.  The coordinating dies in the bundle made layering the images a breeze.  How could I not use this bundle first!  Such a happy card.  🙂

The Dock – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

Today I decided to let the main image panel scene just shine on this card.  By keeping the layering format very simple and leaving off any additional embellishments my scene is front and center.  I love this clean look, but of course you can add as many embellishments you would like.  Keeping it embellishment free is also a postage saver, oh yeah!
