Dressing Up Your Cell Phone

Hand stamped Clear Phone Insert

Hello Stampers,

This is a quick post just to share an idea.  Last night I decided to spruce up the back of my cell phone.  I purchased a clear protective case for my cell phone and now I can stamp inserts to put between my phone and the case.  How fun is this, you can put seasonal works of art in the case and show off a bit of your stamping skills.  The inserts are so easy to change out, I think I’ll make one a month.  🙂

Keep in mind your insert cannot have layers or it will be too thick and your phone will not fit in the case right.  Layering stamped images is your best bet.  I mainly used the stamps I had on my desk from my last card project to make this insert.

So many phones look alike but, I don’t think anyone will mistake my phone for their’s any longer, lol.

Hello Stampers,

Let’s make a little scene!  I love the look of a scene on a leaf shape.  How much more of a nature scene could you make?

The deer image from the Stampin’ Up! Seize the Day stamp set is the perfect size for this project.  I chose to make this a night scene so, I could use it anytime of year but, wouldn’t this be wonderful in golden sunlight with Autumn colors too.

Hello Stampers,

A little tip today, make your focal image really pop by layering light colored images behind it.  Splashes of light color enhance the image, not overpower it.  🙂

This card design can be used for many occasions through the end of Autumn.

Adding love inside your card design

During one of my card classes I spied one of the attendees adding a heart in the center of her panels with the glue she applied.  Come to find out she always does this to add some love for the recipient to each layer.  What a wonderful practice!
