Today’s project is a great card of encouragement to a crafty friend.  I purposely created the background to look unfinished, like a painting in progress.

I kept the layout super simple so it doesn’t distract from unfinished scene.  I love the new Stampin’ UP! Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, 146912.  It is see through and will be used a lot when I want my scene to show through.

Pen & Ink Card

Hello there,

I just love pen and ink drawings.  Their simplicity is no fuss elegance.  Today’s card project is my take on a pen and ink drawing using two just released stamp sets, Crafting Forever and Colorful Seasons.  They are certainly fun sets to combine.  I also added some texture with a distressing technique.

Adding the bright pops of two of the new In-colors (Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst) gives this card a cheery air.
