Hello stamping friends,

When do you start to turn your crafting mojo over to the Winter Holidays?  Do you believe tomorrow is November 1st!  

I love to create snowy scenes for my cards and the Yuletide Village stamp set images are perfect to use for them.   I created this card to use for multi occasions and purposely omitted putting on a sentiment, if I don’t have a use for it, such as a wedding, thinking of you, etc., I will stamp a Christmas sentiment in it come Christmas time and use it for that.  This won’t sit in my card box for long, I’m sure.

I teamed the Yuletide Village church image up with the beautiful tree stamp set, Peaceful Evergreen.  These stamp sets sure do compliment each other.  I love how the pine trees frame the church as snow falls gently on this scenic card.  I hope you do too!

Frosted Forest – Autumn Card

Autumn Light the Year Card

I’m having a bit of fun this Fall season using some of the new Winter themed stamps sets from Stampin’ Up! only with a Fall look.  Let’s get more use out of those stamps, YES!   The stamp sets I’m using today are Light the Year and Layering Leaves.  The leaf images in the Layering Leaves set are awesome for giving any images from other sets that Autumn feel, with little effort.  Plus, if you have the bough punch it coordinates with the Layering Leaves stamp set.
