Hello there,

Well I am back from the Stampin’ Up! trip to Thailand.  Whew!  That was a long, long way to travel (24 hours of planes and airports).  The resort we stayed at in Phuket was beautiful and just what I needed for some quality down time.  I look just miserable here don’t I, lol.  Yep, that’s me, the one with the farmers tan.  🙂

It’s wonderful to experience different countries and their cultures.  It is also always wonderful to get back home.  I’m such a home body!  Today I am jet lagged and happy to take some time lazily stamping in my craft room.  I hope you enjoy the results.

Hello there,

Don’t you think today’s card project looks like an old time sepia photo?  I love this warm look and it was easy to achieve using some of the wonderful ink colors from Stampin’ Up!  They really do work great together and they are colors I reach for almost daily in my stamping.

I kept the layout of this project very simple (no frills) to give it a more masculine air.

Lovely At Night – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

I’m playing around with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set this evening.  One thing I love to do with this stamp set is to use the tree tops as bushes in the background to add some depth to the scene.  Add the big pine image in front to create some layering of images and that also adds depth.  I kept the layout simple to be more masculine. 🙂
