First, I want to wish you a safe and happy New Year’s Eve.  I maybe able to hold my eyes open until 10:00 pm tonight, lol.  Never fails, Russ always has to wake me up to ring the New Year in with him.  I hope you are more of a party animal than I am and enjoy the holiday festivities.

My card today features the stamp set Born to Shine, 149244.  This dancer is certainly enjoying herself.  I envision her dancing in the town square and not caring if anyone sees her.  A reminder that we should all just be who we are, right?

Today’s card was inspired by, I must confess, my overgrown garden just outside my craft room window.  So many birds rummaging around in it looking for seed pods left from the Summer.  We don’t have Blue Birds here in Ohio but, there is no reason why I can’t put one on my card, right?  I think it looks great combined with the grays and browns in the scene, nice color combo for sure.

I have a wonderful Winter Anniversary card for you today.  I love this image of the couple from the Stampin’ Up Silhouette Scenes stamp set.  I put them in a Winter scene this time with the snow gently falling by combining the image with the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp set.

Hello Stampers,

I have a card idea for you today which features putting a shadow in the snow for the main image from the Stampin’ Up! Merry Moose stamp set.  Sometime it’s just those quick little details which make the card stand out.

If you want a quicker card using a silhouette image is definitely the way to go, no coloring!  Laying the project with the cute Basic Gray Plaid Designer Series Paper and Gray and black card stock makes this card a bit more masculine in nature. This is another multi-occasion card to keep on hand for the Winter months.
