Textured Born to Ride Stampin’ Up! Card

Textured Born to Ride

Hello there,

Let me tell you, I really had to work for this post, lol.  Photographing a black card  with lots of texture is a pain in the you know wha, shesh!  Extremely hard to get all the texture to show up and keep the scene from washing out.   But I had to show you  all the texture in the layout panels because it really makes the card slick.  🙂

See that stitched look on the top panel on today’s card, well I discovered when you put the white line washi tape from the Pick a Pattern Washi Tape pack on the edges of a black panel you get this great look of stitching, fabulous!  This has been my go to Washi Tape Pack for sure this year.

Also for this project I pulled out my paper crimper, remember the paper crimper? You probably have it buried in a box or drawer some where if you are like me. I’ve had mine for about 20 years and I absolute love the texture it creates and it never goes out of style.
