Free Video Tutorial – Latte Love II Card

Hello Stamping Friends,

After playing with the Latte Love stamp set this week, I can now see why it is so extremely popular.   Today’s card project was so fun because I took my grungy inspiration from one of the Designer Series Papers in the A Little Latte paper pack.  I also used the arial view coffee cup image and one of the coffee and cream designs for the inside of the cup.

Stampin’ Up! Latte Love Card

Hello stamping friends,

It’s time to wake up and smell the coffee!  It’s super fun to create those coffee cards for your coffee loving friends and family using the new Latte Love stamp set.  This stamp set gives you the option of using the side view images or the over head images and it has a nice coordinating dies set, the Latte Love Dies.  

I used the Latte Love stamp set today to create this sunrise scene.  Gotta love coffee or tea for that matter as you watch the sunrise for the day.  Can you tell I’m an early bird, up at 5:00 am most days.  The hubby and I love to watch the sunrise and the early cardinals at our bird feeders each morning.  It really starts the day off right!

Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Mood Card

Hello stamping friends,

I’m usually not a real flowery type stamper but, I cannot resist the big bold flower stamps such as the ones you can find in the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Mood stamp set.  The images are large and a joy to color.  I also love to create fun backgrounds for them like the one above.  When you make your own backgrounds you can pick any colors combo you want to, of course.  Sometimes, I pick colors I know are the favorite of the person I’m making the card for.  One great thing about stamping, you can tailor make your cards.  So don’t be afraid to try different color combos.

I had to stop in the middle of blog posting today to see the eclipse.  It is really something to see!  The last time we had the chance to see it here it was covered by clouds, but not today!  Did you get to see it?

Any how, I wanted to show in today’s free video how to use two of the little stamps from the popular Stampin’ Up! Set, Painted Lavender.  Sometime we over look the little images in stamp sets, well at least I do.  Today I challenged myself to use the a little flower image and the little butterflies to create this topiary looking scene.

Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Card

I love the time of day when the sun is setting in the distance, everything in the world seems a bit more calm for some reason.  Today I placed my sun just above the horizon line but, you can place your sun any where you like.  It will just make it a different time of day.  Make it your own!
