I decided to get more out of my Flourish Thinlits Dies today by layering them for this great look. The layering of this die gives a look of scroll cut wood when you put it on top of this wood looking direct to paper background. Very elegant indeed!

Hello there,

Yep, I’m making Christmas cards. Getting them done early this year so I’m not so rushed during the holidays. Making sure my favorite Stampin’ Up! products out of the Holiday catalog are available and not sold out, as they sometimes do close to Christmas.

Check out this cute kid making the snow angel in my project today. I used my all time favorite Winter color combo, Soft Suede, Soft Sky and Gold. The Soft Sky gives you that cool color while the Soft Suede and Gold warms your heart, grin. I think it is an elegant combo too.

Hello there,

Guess what? Today is my birthday and I am spending it doing what I love best, stamping! I’m playing with a new set that will be released tomorrow when the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is release. Now about today’s project, the stamp set I used is the new Halloween Scares, item #142229. Love these images. I used them for an Autumn card. I love purples and oranges together for Autumn.

This card fits into a #10 size business envelope. 🙂

A little tip, sometimes there is not room to have a lot of card stock layers. I like to sponge the edges of my main image panel by scraping the sponge against the edge with a dark color. I use this technique to replace a layer. Makes your card more cost effective too.
