Hello there,

Yep, it’s me again, I’m definitely in the creative mood today.  This is my second project today.

This project really conveys what is in my heart. If I could send one of these cards to each and everyone of you I would. I am truly thankful for you. Without you this blog and my business would not be in existence.

Now about this project, I used what I would have to say is my number 1 pick from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the background.

Chalk – Scrapbook Page

Hello there,

I’m doing a bit of scrapbooking today.   Saturday is a day I like to create something for my home.  I know, this is not my normal posting, but I just thought I would share today’s page with you.

I had this super cute photo of my 14 month old Grand Daughter, Aubree and I just had to do a layout for it.  This will be framed and hanging up in my living room this evening in a black scrapbook frame.  Why not get those scrapbook pages out where people can see them, right?

I kept the layout simple so the focus would be on the picture.  Washi Tape, white stamping and sponging and there you have it.  Layouts don’t need to be cluttered up with stuff to be beautiful.

So what do you like to use your creative mind on during the weekend?

Hello there,

Have you started to create your Christmas cards?  You can tell by my projects this month that I have.  I love getting them done and off my list of to do’s for the holidays.

Do you like to create all of your Christmas cards with the same design or make a few of a couple different designs?  I don’t like to sit and crank out 100 of the same design so I make a few of multiple designs to keep me from being bored. I’ve decked out some leaves from the Vintage Leaves stamp set, item #138802 in gold.

They look like they are going to a black tie event with their little gold and black bow tie.  Add some glowing handmade background panels and you have a truly special card for that special person on your list.

Fox in Winter Wonderland – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

Thanks for being patient while I took a break from blogging in order to relax and have fun at the Stampin’ Up! Founder’s Circle Retreat. I just returned home last night.  The trip as usual was amazing, but I’m always happy to be back home in my office stamping my heart out.

Today’s card is a take on my Founder’s Circle Swap. This one is a little bit stepped up from my swap card.  I needed to make 110 swap cards so I left off a few things to make it a reasonable swap card that didn’t take me weeks to finish.

Have you checked out the Sleigh Ride Edgeless Die, item #139670 yet?  That is what I used to created the diecut layer of snow and trees, super easy and very duplicatable.  Just right for making lots of Christmas cards that say Wow!Screen Shot 2015-09-21 at 12.27.53 PM

I teamed up the diecut with another great item from the Holiday Catalog, the Jingle All the Way stamp set, item #139907.

This stamp set has lots of images to add to your snowy scenes, like the fox, which gives this scene a bit of a pop! 🙂

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Hi there,

Well I’m all packed and headed out the door to catch a flight to St. George, Utah to attend the 2015 Founder’s Circle Retreat.  The Founder’s Circle Retreat is a trip that is earned by placing in the Stampin’ Up! top 100.

Stampin’ Up! will pamper us for the next 4 days.  To say I am excited is an understatement!

Buck in the Mountains – Stampin’ Up! Card

The deer image in the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Jolly Christmas is so handsome.  The stamp set is a definite Christmas themed one, but look how great it looks in a none Winter scene as well.  Yep, I’m still trying to think outside of box to get more use out of the great holiday stamp sets I purchase.  I hope this helps you as well.
